Program Description
Learning Objective: To provide healthcare professionals with strategies to reduce catheter-associated urinary tract infections and improve patient care
Presenting the most current information available, this program educates nurses and nursing assistants on the indications for catheter use, potential causes of infection, risk factors for acquisition of CA-UTIs and evidence-based interventions, including care and maintenance of the catheter and collection.
