Program Description


Learning Objective: Clearly demonstrates how to conduct the 1 Hour Face-to-Face Evaluation, the roles and responsibilities of the care team, and the necessary documentation and reporting requirements



The use of restraints and seclusion should only be used in emergent situations. If restraints and seclusion are utilized, it should be done safely and with regard to the rights and dignity of the individual. Additionally, CMS mandates the performance of a 1 Hour Face-to-Face Evaluation, and Joint Commission Standards require evaluation and monitoring.
